Benefits of Membership

All services are provided by volunteers who have completed a NNN orientation and vetting via a background check. In addition, all drivers have completed a motor vehicle record check. Our services are based on the availability of our volunteers. These are some of the services our volunteers will do without charge.

House sitting tasks of collecting mail or newspapers, pet care. We can provide up to 2 hours of gardening assistance. For routine lawn care or larger scale projects (such as snow plowing) we can help you find a reputable contractor.
Technical Support: assistance with electronic gadgets (clocks, TV remotes, cell phones); help with simple computer problems or internet use.

Programs
We are a newly developing Village with the potential for many options as to the fun events that we can offer as we build our membership and volunteer corps. Most importantly though, we want the social events to come from the interests of our membership. We encourage you to get involved by letting us know your interests and helping us to create programs that match those interests. Some examples could be:
Ongoing Group Activities:
Monthly Book Group, Story Telling Group, Stock Market, Games, Crafts, etc.
Health/Fitness (Walking, Cycling, Yoga, Exercise)
Educational Events:
Seminars (History, Travel, Wellness, Technology, Current Events)
Day Trips (Museums; Art Galleries, Historical Places of Interest, etc.)
Social Gatherings:
Dining Together:(Lunch/dinner, coffees, potlucks/picnics, etc.)
Events in Community (Movies, Theatre, Concerts, Sporting Events)
Referrals
Members will have available to them an Information and Assistance Directory of area vendors for services requiring a licensed or skilled trades person.
These vendors were recommended by members of our community. We have not vetted these vendors or received any consideration for listing them. We will give you several names and let you select the best vendor for the work that you want done.
