Attorneys Lauren Sharkey and Laurie Keniry from the law firm of Cioffi, Slezak, Wildgrube P.C. will be presenting on the basics of estate planning. They will cover the importance of having an asset list, understanding how assets are transferred at death, and updating the asset list on a regular basis. Part of the discussion will touch on the current estate tax laws and what changes can be expected in the next few years. Health care proxies/living wills, powers of attorney, will and trusts will also be reviewed.
